So if you think you can help me out with getting a job let me know. I have a college education. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. In my major I had a 3.4 GPA. My main focus was statistical economics. I created my own study where I compare normal housing in King County to Alternative Energy houses. It was a multi variable test using a program called EViews.
Beyond just research I also have done online marketing. By using web 2.0 tactics I have become well versed in the whole online marketing world. Since my junior year in college I started working with SEM work. I have mainly worked with Google adwords, trends, and analytics. By implementing ads, studying matchtypes and keywords, tracking the ads, and improving the PPC I have gotten a good start into Search Engine Marketing. After SEM I have been immersed into SEO. With Search Engine Optimization I created a website through WordPress did my keyword research and implemented these keywords throughout the meta, headers, and content. After that I use tracking to improve the website. I also make sure that the landing page is a valuable page to get to because that is where all the leads are generated. Finally there is Social Media Marketing, SMM, which is the new wave of marketing. It is free, fun, and easy. But the draw back is that it is the most time consuming. You have to blog, forum, social network, and most importantly update all these on a regular basis.
This is my life regarding jobs right now. Everyday I am on the hunt until my business get off the ground. I don’t know what is wrong if I am just looking in all the wrong places or if I am just not as good as I think. I am an entrepreneur at heart so the whole company thing is relatively new to me.
So please help me with knowledge, job hunting tactics or anything.
